Thanks for stepping up BG with this thread, appreciate it. So it looks like we still need to confirm that 4 teams are returning? I'll send an email, hopefully we can get that confirmed asap and then get keepers set.

Post-keepers we could still try to do a slow draft on Fantrax with a 1 or 2 hour clock, may be short on time though so the other option is for a live draft ... perhaps Sunday or Monday?

Things were a little messed up last season with the playoff schedule, and a couple of other issues. We did not purchase Fantrax Premium for this league, and got shafted on a couple of features as a result. We should try to get everything set up properly this time, I'll ask HP and BG (and anyone else, really) to take a look at the settings before the season starts, to make sure everything's set correctly.

Here are some proposed rules from when the league began, we ended up implementing some changes but I want to discuss the payout structure (are we happy with just paying the 2 teams playing in the finals, or do we want to revert to the idea below).

Also, do we want to go with 6 or 8 playoff teams?


PROPOSED RULES FROM LEAGUE START:

$20 entry fee
40% payout to regular season champ
10% to 2nd place in regular season
40% to playoff champ
10% to playoff runner up

Head to head (points based)
3 match ups per week

6 Keepers
8 Playoff teams
All non playoff teams are in the draft lottery with equal odds.

Looks like Kellen's in (Halifax) so we still need to hear from 3 people asap. Does anyone know how to get a hold of any of them? BG looks like your friend will probably be able to get a team, we'll give these guys another day or so.

Okay, H4L is in and I also heard back from Green Hornets, who should be posting their keepers later tonight.

And actually, it looks like SlapShots has posted his keepers, so I think we've got everybody back!

Live Draft is tentatively set for Sunday October 10 at 8:00 pm EST. Hopefully everyone can do their best to be there, we can also adjust the time (or even the date) if need be.

Let's get everyone's keepers posted by Friday at the latest (today if possible!)
