2021-22 Season Hurricanes Misc. Thread

That really has to be just a rest/maintenance/injury situation for Rantaa. No one its taking him out of the starting role unless he is incapable of starting.

JD would be unemployed in a few weeks, if I was in Wadells office. They'd all need to brush up the resumes. Dundon needs to quit being a cheapass on his staff. They've been exposed this year.

Either a film session or else Roddy just spent ten minutes blowing out the ducts and sent them home to think about their sins. I'm good with it.
 
Only those of you who subscribe to the Triangle Business Journal can access this article, but for those who don't, it says that PNC is interested in extending their naming rights deal on the arena when it expires in August, but Dundon is shopping it around to see if he can get a higher price. A realistic possibility is that there is a short-term extension and then Dundon seeks a higher-priced, longer-term deal with PNC or other possible naming rights partners if and when the planned arena renovations and upgrades happen in the next few years.

 
I think the only actual news in there ... other than the fact that the Editor in Chief still has an unhealthy dislike for Dundon ... is that PNC is actually interested in an extension. Based on the slant, the reporter talked to PNC and while they'd like to extend, it doesn't sound like they're interested in paying the current going rate, so Dundon is smart to shop around. And then maybe an extension is an option if he fails to find a longer term deal.
 
Maybe bojangles could take it on. Would be nothing better than calling your arena “the biscuit”. 😂. Yes I’m kidding. Sort of…..
 
They could have an outside thingie setup prior to games where you out the biscuit in the basket.
 
I think they should do a canes retro video package at one of the games.
- ric flair on a goal
- the black cat hopping across the opposing goalie’s picture
- the leprechaun on the power play video
- sock puppet in the penalty box

Anybody wid me?

They don’t do the leprechaun anymore? I mean it’s the same damn song I just assumed they still had the leprechaun

Not unless they change the exterior of the building. I don't want to hang around any biscuits with that much green around the edges, thanks very much.
