If someone in the States gets Covid, it's their problem to deal with. If someone in Canada gets Covid, it's everyone's problem because we have taxpayer funded single payer healthcare. If the government is the one ultimately paying the medical bills, they get to say how many fans in an arena is too many.

Yes, a large percentage of the population now has at least one dose. Problem is that you need 2 doses to protect you from the Delta variant, which is going to be the source of another wave if people slack off. So until large numbers of Canadians have both doses don't expect huge crowds being permitted.

Besides, it's highly doubtful that this will even be an issue a week from now. If the Habs don't win tonight it's basically over. The Knights are not the Leafs. They aren't going to conveniently self-destruct for us.

I assume that in Canada only those who don’t want to get vaccinated have not had at least one dose by now. If they get sick, or even die, that’s on them at this point.

it is getting pretty close to that point (if you are 12 and older)

i know for me i wont be doing anything indoors like that until i get my second dose
the delta variant laughs at my one dose

I'm torn about it. I only have one shot and I'm expecting to have my next one in August probably. I'd love to just have one game like Habsy & HP did in Las Vegas, but...

If I see my friends, it's almost exclusively outdoors at this point.

Not exactly, there are still some who are in line for a 1st shot, especially in rural areas. I do agree though, those who are whining that we need to keep masks on and distance because some might not be vaccinated, well fuck them.

please, you might be in a different situation as you have that young tot but for those not in your situation, we paid a price for 15 long months, 3500 is nothing, hell they could have 10-12000 at the Bell Centre and you could still be 6 feet apart for those that think that is still necessary

oh please with the variant shit. It is just one more scare tactic by fascists in government and public health who want to keep control. They will come up with another variant after the Indian one, remember the Manaus one that was going to kill us all, before that the London one?

I would have flown down even with just my one pfizer but that stupid 2 week quarantine prevented me
