2022 Stanley Cup Playoff Picks

5 for 8 in the first round all because I was a homer. For this round we'll do

Tampa in 7
Carolina in 5
Colorado in 6
Calgary in 6

4/8 in the first round, pretty garbage. Anyways I’ll go.

Florida in 7
Carolina in 5
Colorado in 5
Calgary in 5

7/8 (got pens/rags wrong)

i will go

panthers in 6
rags in 7
avs in 6
oilers in 5

Panthers in 6 (or less)
Rangers in 6 (or perhaps they lose in 7)
Avs in 5 (if they spot the Blues more than one game it's a pathetic failure)
Flames in 6 (possibly 5)

Something about these Rangers and the league really wanting NY in a final for the ratings tells me it won't be a cakewalk for Tampa. Trouba has full Weber immunity.

Don't think I've ever seen a team draw penalties and commit infractions without getting called as well as the Lightning do, I begrudgingly tip my hat to them. Special teams and goaltending they've got too. That's a tough out.

I'm going with the underdogs, just for fun, and because I think we might see individual performances keep trumping team performances.

Edmonton over Avs in 6. McDavid seems to be in nobody can stop me mode, Avs aren't incredible defensively, so he could have some fun back there. But Smith over MacKinnon and Co. seems like a longshot, a hilarious one at that.

NYR over TB in 6. I think TB should take it, but I also think the Rags have some momentum, and the Shitsturkey factor could end up being huge if Vasy delivers a first round performance.

The Rangers seem to have the same luck with officials, and they have Shesterkin. I think this could be a very close series.
