Since when do you care if others are affected by stuff? Your only concerns during Covid was your inability to travel for pleasure, not being able to eat in restaurants and having to wear a mask. You equate the fact that most fans had to watch Lehkonen score the series clincher on a big screen outside the Bell Centre instead of inside it with "pain" when it was actually just "inconvenient". Having to postpone your umpteenth trip to Disneyworld wasn't "painful" either.

You should be happy about the pandemic. If not for Covid the Habs never would have had that playoff run. They'd just be the same poorly run shitty non playoff team they were the previous 3 years.

Hopefully the Montreal gentrifiers take away the poutine/steamie places like they've taken away the strip clubs so he can get in shape.

I laugh but it's really a tragedy. You go downtown on a Saturday night and Ste. Catherine Street is practically deserted because the only businesses left on it are retail outlets that all close at 6pm. No bars, strip clubs, restaurants, nothing. Just half-empty Airb&b's and designer clothing stores that closed before the sun went down.

But specifically with regard to strip clubs I think gentrification is only partially to blame. Mostly it's free internet porn and a population of increasingly incel-ish young males who are incapable of interacting with other human beings in person.
