As a fluffy person, I usually wear 2x/3x tshirts (gilden/hanes) and a 3x jersey (or Sz 60) is what I wear.
So it seems to equate fairly well. And congrats! I feel like my 5X jerseys I'm swimming in, probably going to put them up for sale.
I think I have 10 or so. I have an autographed white Brind’Amour that I usually only wear to opening night. Other than that, my game day jerseys are dependent on what color the team is wearing. I have a black Aho, a red Jarvis and a blank green Whalers. The other jerseys, older Ahos, Faulk, Ruutu, assorted blanks are relegated to the back of the closet. My collection is a Francis with the ESA patch, a Vasicek with a 2002 SCF patch and an Erik Cole with a 2006 SCF patch.
OMG I forgot because I'm an idiotThanks. But I don’t recommend my ‘diet’ plan. So I guess a Lg 52 should work for me
No worries man, reallyOMG I forgot because I'm an idiot
Buffalo does it every 3 months, can't be too hardI think the black with the red and white will look great overall, you are bang on about the mismatched helmet colors...at one point last year one of those combos was just awful in every sense of the word.
In regards to coming up with a new primary logo...where do you even start and how long of a process does that take to make it through the team, the league, the lawyers, Fanatics and everything else? You would think that would take years to try and pull off and it does not sound like anything is even remotely brewing on that front.
The 52 is your best bet by all accounts, the 54 probably too big. Fanatics middle of the road jersey, below the high end authentic but above the entry level is a great choice.Thanks. But I don’t recommend my ‘diet’ plan. So I guess a Lg 52 should work for me
Hell! I have a game worn Babchuk!!! I fell in love with booming shot, especially after he cracked the glass. I don’t think I’ve worn that jersey in what feels like decades. I got it for what a new authentic would cost today. So, there’s thatYep, if I’m springing for the name, they have to have term. The one exception I made was getting a red adidas Jarvis. He was still on his entry deal but I figured it was a safe bet.
One of my friends has a Darling jersey. We haven’t seen it lately. Another friend got a Foegele jersey when he was a rookie but that disappeared too. At least she got more use out of that than our friend’s Darling. They both wear blanks now. I’ve also seen a couple of Vatanen jerseys. We never saw him play in person, I don’t understand that one, he was only ever going to be a rental. Unless they were completing a Finn collection?
I have a friend who kind of specializes in custom jerseys of players who never made it or who are super niche. He still wears a Malik jersey as often as anything else, but he's got all sorts of short timers and AHL heroes. But the guys who go straight out and plunk down big cash for a jersey of a player who just got here and who isn't on a long term deal will always confuse me. I saw a fair number of Hall jerseys well before he extended and that was ... a choice.Yep, if I’m springing for the name, they have to have term. The new Fanatics top tier pricing is absurd. I haven't spent that much on any of my game worns except the Adams. ($500)Hell! I have a game worn Babchuk!!! Yeah, Fanatics is pushing fans even more towards replicas than Adidas did. And they worked that angle harder than any of the previous gear companies. Now if they could just figure out how to get the replicas to a high enough quality level to justify THAT purchase.
Well then, I got my game worn Babchuck for much less than that. I have a game worn Aaron Ward from that 2005-06 season that I still wear. Confuses the heck out of people when they tell me Ward wore #30The new Fanatics top tier pricing is absurd. I haven't spent that much on any of my game worns except the Adams. ($500)
I have an Aho Fanatics replica. The logo is complete crap. The material is complete crap. And that’s why I wanted to get my Jarvis adidas because I figured the Fanatics authentic were going to be complete crap.Yeah, Fanatics is pushing fans even more towards replicas than Adidas did. Except you can tell the difference. Fanatics' quality control is legendary for being all over the place and they routinely ship replicas with obvious flaws ... and not just picky stuff either. From what I've gathered their pro line is still the same as when Adidas made them, just with a different brand logo ... but the replicas that they get made in God knows where are as likely to be terrible as they are to be correct. The brands that also work in the soccer space have a pretty good handle on how to pump out a cheaper version that's good enough. Fanatics, not so much ...It’s the smart thing to do. They make more money off the replicas because of the sheer volume of sales. It’s the whole ‘what’s better selling 500 things at 5.00 or 5000 at 3.00’. I have a buddy that works in that type of business and he makes tons more on his ‘cheaper’ versions because he sells 10x more. The average fan with a family of 4 is not going to spend 900+ bucks on jerseys every year. Especially these days, you can’t even really tell the difference
We don’t have enough ratings. That needs to be winnered out the wazoo. So Hannah Yates had an interesting summer.
I've always thought highly of her, but after reading this, my impression of Hannah is off the charts! What a brave and beautiful soul she is!So Hannah Yates had an interesting summer.
