2024-25 Canes Miscellaneous Thread

This is probably a bad sign, but the Wolves signed goalie Mark Sinclair to a PTO. He’s 28 years old and with the Bloomington Bison now, with a 1.46/.948 stat line in 8 games. Since turning pro in 2021, he’s been primarily in the ECHL, playing 1 game for the AHL Belleville Senators in each of the last 2 seasons. The Wolves still show Dustin Tokarski on the roster, he’s also on a PTO.

I sure hope not...saw the play, he looked somewhat ok initially but definitly was pissed in the bench area coming off and was throwing his glove and blocker...I was hoping it was because he was pulled and gave up the goals and not because of injury...
 
Maybe they will find a cure for Fred’s brittle f’ing bone disease and he can play more than a month a year. Is that too much to ask? A freaking equipment manager as a backup goalie, even In practice is a joke. They need to fix this for once and for all. This is what, the 3rd year of goalie carousel?

RBA says he’s not too concerned with Kochetkov, he could be back in the next couple of days. Perets might be recalled for tomorrow. Jarvis is probably next week.

Have to agree with this, you cannot keep expecting to count on him to be healthy when the guy is never healthy. Long stretches out every year are a killer for any team. A contending team so many years in a row with the same lack of goaltending depth is not a smart move during the rigors of a 82 game schedule. We missed our old buddy Reimer by one day slipping through waivers and I think Kahkonen slipped through a few days before that.
