2024-25 Canes Miscellaneous Thread

I walked up to the 300 level when we went to see Nate Bargatze a couple of weeks ago. They had it buttoned down but it was obvious they have made good in progress. I have zero clue what a "luxury bunker suite" is supposed to be, but ...

Also good to get confirmation that they will be starting the exterior stuff after State's football schedule is done. Hopefully the club will give us more info on the schedule before the season starts.

The luxury bunker suites are under Lower Level South. There are suites equipped with 8K HDTVs but no ice view. Suite holders will have access to wander out to reserved seats on the glass behind the goal if they want to watch live action.

Sounds like about what you'd expect, although I'm mystified why someone would pay a premium price for such and experience. Obviously I'm not the target audience for these. Let's go to a game at the arena and watch it on TV is not a sentence that would ever come out of my mouth.

As one our friends joked when we talked about the suites…BUT IT’S 8K TV!!!!!

If they’re the seats I’m thinking of, they were supposedly priced at $11,000. Each.
 
Yeah, they focused grouped and surveyed this stuff within an inch of its life, so the demand is there otherwise they wouldn't be doing. I just don't know any of these people. None of the bunker dwellers and nobody that would "hang on the party deck." Not sure I want to know any of them, honestly. Just watch the freaking game.

I’d probably wander over to the deck, it’s the only upgraded old and beverage offerings to the unwashed masses on the 3rd level, me included. Can’t get into the Deck, can’t get into any of the stuff on the 2nd level, at last we might have nice things.
 
They should have some sections that have rules for that. No getting up to leave your seat except between periods. No chit chat during play that isn’t related. No coming over and sitting in your seat twisted around so you can talk to a friend behind you. No fun -just watch the game! I’m only a little joking. I’d sit in a section like that.

That's also the section I want in front of me if it's not lower bowl
 
I rather like the current Canes white road jerseys. I would need to see what that stadium series design would look like in white before I completely dismiss it.
 
Jersey's a bit bland but not terrible. Put it with red breezers and helmet, and *maybe*... But no more black helmets on the road and just burn those white breezers.

Yeah, this. I'm mostly happy that the sightless eye will still be the logo on the front.

Could we just wear white helmets with the white jerseys please? Otherwise, whatever. That is by far the weakest of the Canes' jerseys so far as I'm concerned, so whatever they do will probably be an improvement. Just pick a logo and run with it.
