The KHL Kunlun Red Stars aren’t dead after all. They relocated and rebranded as the Shanghai Dragons. They just hired Gerard Gallant as head coach.

Geez, Gallant's career took a left turn in Albuquerque after he got canned in New York.

Another AHL vet has gone to Russia. Rocco Grimaldi signed with SKA St. Petersburg. He played 203 NHL games, mostly with Nashville, splitting 2021-22 between there and AHL Milwaukee. Since then, he’s bounced around the AHL, including a season with the Wolves independent team. He last played for Cleveland.
