2025-26 NHL Miscellaneous Thread

FWIW, the Gargoyles are announcing missed games as postponed rather than cancelled ... which is ... optimistic, I guess.
 
When the IceCaps played in Raleigh, I know sone of those players had other, semi normal jobs. One guy whose name I can't remember used to play pick up with us at the Cary Ice House. I seem to recall one was a forklift operator or some odd job like that?

correct. When I played I had a full time job as did everyone on the team. All the semi pro players had jobs. Our coach and best player was wanted by the Blackhawk’s but couldn’t afford to go as he was a civil engineer by day. The hawks offers like 6k.
two other of our players were offered tryouts to the hawks and said no. Couldn't afford it.

And yet again AJ Greer doing the greaseball shit as usual and most of it filthy and when a guys back is turned.
 
It wasn’t just Greer though. Tampa came in ready for clown class and basically ensured a ridiculous display. Florida lives on that edge anyway, but when the opponent likewise is ready to get stupid, then you get … that.
