It depends who they’d be trading for and who’s available at their draft spots. A lot of “draft experts” have us taking Justin Carboneau with Calgary’s pick (assuming they don’t win the lottery and stay at 16).

No. I want an actual 2C now. Also, there’s apparently a big drop off in this draft after the 6th pick and not much difference between 7-20 or so.

The priority is to get a suitable 2C.

All sensible assets (i.e.not 14, 48, 93, etc.), including these picks, are on the table.

Could also be cap space for a UFA.

We are quickly getting to "the window is open NOW" territory with Suzuki and Caufield. I don't want to wait 5 years for Hage because that's 5 years of prime Suzuki wasted. We need a 2C who can play today and bridge that gap.

Agree. Can’t be a project.
