2025 Draft

These guys look most interesting to me. I'm assuming Hagens and Eklund don't drop that far, and these might not either. As usual, I know nothing about these guys, just perusing.

Carter Bear

The next tier for me would be Atcheson, Brady Martin, Radim Mrtka, Lakovic, Nesbitt, Carbonneau, Ilya Ryabkin, Ravensburger, Kindel, Cole Reschny.

Not after acquiring Peterka. They moved D Kesselring to fill the need up front and now need to replace that RHD and will be very interested in Matheson who is one season removed from a stellar season.

The logic is that giving Matheson the PP reigns on Utah could be a repeat of skill he’s already shown. He’s a fit for what they need.

Add in a first and maybe a second? I could see them thinking about that long and hard.

MM sucks on the PP. His hockey IQ is a negative number.

IF this happens / Darche finds another way to land a pick allowing selection of Hagens..

Any chance Habs could put a package together to entice NYI to offer up Calum Ritchie (2C?), especially if Isles land a pick to draft Hagens?

Some package w Mailloux given he’s RD
 
I’m looking at underlying numbers here and Dobson also has a massive drop off in production and all his metrics were worse than Matheson last year.

I’d go with the younger one too but start sweetening the pot? Never know.
