2025 NHL UFA/Trade Thread

Dallas MIGHT trade Jason Robertson. We should be highly interested if they decide to do that. One of our first round picks this year, Hage and Logan Mailloux for Robertson and a Dallas prospect. Too much?

If you watched him closely, he played scared to be hit all playoffs - not sure if he was protecting an injury but playoff Robertson is not regular season go to the dirty areas Robertson for 4-straight playoffs now… I mentioned during the Dallas/Edm series plays a very Andre Dawson-esque game in the playoffs (up 4-0 or down 3-0 & he racks up points)

But IF Stars deal him, it’s because he enters last year of contract is apparently looking at $11M+ longterm deal

Exactly and Habs dont need him

This is the part of the cap increase that I dont care about

Players like him JR looking for 11 mil , let him be another teams problem

Having said what I have on Robertson, it’s not as if the Stars have many (any?) crash through the walls playoff warrior types like Anderson, Gallagher.

Robertson & Demigod teamed w a 2C possessing some jam might unleash the regular season high end talent… but I’m still not surrendering Hage.

Both 1sts + Mailloux + Beck / Kapanen / Engstrom
