I dunno if that even works. Zibanejad’s contract runs for 4 more years. Yuck. Even at 50%.

And he appears to be in rapid decline.

Agreed but this is 11`s first decent season since he signed that albatross deal

Mika in a bad year had 62 points and retaining 2.5 mil is a chance I take if no other option is solved at the 2C

Is Hugo going to nab a MD for a bridge move until Hage is ready or try to get a younger legit 2C in a trade
