2026-27 Canes Miscellaneous Thread

I think Jarvis comes back. He's on the trip.
Could be. The only specific thing the team have said about Jarvis is that he wouldn't be ready for the first couple of games but that he was going on the roadie. That lines up with a return tonight, potentially. It would mean Martinook would be stuck at center though, which is far from ideal. Still, you'd probably rather Jarvis get his first game in against the Canucks than the Oilers.

Yea, Marty did ok in a few stints at C last year or the year before, but its less than ideal....but i still think hes a better option than Brind'amour the younger. But, who knows. I have faith in Rod and GMET. They seem to navigate situations like this pretty good. It's a plug and play system that everyone in the Raleigh and Chicago know inside out. As long as they are bought in, they are usually set up for success.

Lines at practice today. Jarvis was a full participant and it looks like he’s in tomorrow night. He also jumped onto PP2. The AHL transaction page says that Nadeau was sent back to Chicago.

Carrier - Aho - Svechnikov
Ehlers - Stankoven - Blake
Martinook - Kotkaniemi - Jarvis
Robinson - Unger Sörum - Deslauriers

Slavin - Chatfield
Miller - Walker
Gostisbehere - Välimäki
Reilly

PP1: Aho, Blake, Ehlers, and Svechnikov with Gostisbehere
PP2: Kotkaniemi, Jarvis, and Stankoven with Miller and Välimäki

FWIW, I thought Nadeau looked better this time around. He had some real nice stretches of play and didn't look overwhelmed like last season. He'll be back eventually.

Skyler Brind’Amour was recalled today too. So maybe FUS won’t be the 4C? Or SBA is “break glass in case of emergency” if Jarvis can’t go.
