Pressure is on HuGo to deliver. The room expects that cap room will be used accordingly.

Yeah, it would be a betrayal to those players to go through the entire season with a bunch of cap space. It's one thing to get it wrong, it's a whole different story to not even make a move. These guys took haircuts so that they could do everything possible to win, not so that the team could spend less.

I fully expect a move that will use up a good portion of that cap space, hopefully prior to the season starting.

I’m convinced that will NOT happen, but indirect effect of Carlsson contract = HuGo have lost all room for error

I suspect other GMs are aware and game of chicken is on..
