It wasn’t but your counter argument was to give me a bunch of names that arguably didn’t have more success than Bergevin. They might or might not be better GMs but most of them didn’t even make it to the SC finals.
 
Bergevin was here for a decade and gone for 5 years. He is bound to have key players still active acquired by him.

Having said that Wright is a loser. He knows what he did that day on the podium and so does the org.

He is persona non grata.

If you want to know what your worth sign one year deals , offer sheets like this one are totally different

When you take term and security for life on a normal deal there is a good chance you will outplay your salary if you develop into a star .
