Are we too harsh with our D?

Chiarot gets a lot of slack on this board but man, the guy works his ass off every shift. He's going to make some mistakes by playing that much but he's giving all he has out there and i respect him for that.

Yeah, spot on.
They have been ok in our zone, i mean generally speaking.
The issue is only Petry can carry the puck among top 4.
 
Edmunston has been pretty good. Chariot and Weber, together, have been bad. They spend so much time in our end. It’s a bad match
 
Took Eddy sometime but he has been our 2nd best D behind Petry so far.
Chairot works hard also, and he is paid 3 M no complain.
Problem is Weber, he is paid like an elite, play worst than Chairot.

He had a couple of nice goals on Saturday, especially the second one. 🤦

The Spezza goal, that’s what D are taught to do. The Brodie one . . . not so much.
 
Those 4 guys are fine in a defence with depth, which is unfortunately useless if you play the 3rd unit 6 minutes. Hopefully they can hold it together for 1 more game.

The be fair, Brodie shot was completely wide. Petry was not even between Brodie and the net.
