Around the League 2019-2024 Edition

He has a modified NTC of 3 teams he can approve? Unless he is desperate and wants to get out of San Jose trade talks could get dicey

With his VACCINATION stunt - I'd say he's lucky that he still has a valid contract. Pretty sure San Jose could have had that whole contract nullified if they wanted.

Wouldn't that work in his favour with the gambling debts?

Molson has more balls than I thought. Wouldn’t have thought he’d put an American Anglophone in charge of hockey ops.

And while I don’t know a ton about Gorton, it seemed he was doing a decent job with the Rangers rebuild before Dolan remembered that he owned a hockey team too and decidedTo to toss a grenade into the front office.

Honestly though, probably the biggest win for Hab fans is Timmins getting swept up in this purge too. The guy’s draft record is embarrassing.
It's the opposite. Molson is too weak to do the dirty work himself.

Sure, but he could have just as easily handed the job over to one of Bergevin’s cronies, or hired a respectable pure laine Québécois to come in to head up hockey ops and be the one to fire Bergevin.

That he didn’t take either of those easiest possible paths is a bit surprising to me.

He would have been drawn and quartered. He read the tea leaves on this one but I think he was too emotionally involved to fire people. There needs a house cleaning and he wasn't capable. For all I know the board of trustees told him to bring someone in because Geoff Molson is incompetent.

Don't think the city of Boston is the answer for Evander

Feels like a Boston move to me though. They know their window is closing, and they're willing to do risky shit to try to win. San Jose is desperate, and Boston probably feels they have a solid enough leadership group to handful Evander.

They dont care for the flashy darkies round those parts.

Would be so funny if they did.

As for DeBrusk, I've always liked his game. His production has trailed off, but I'd love to take a flier on him.
