Still pissed we didn’t dump Keefe and jump on Barry Trotz when he was still available.

Washington won jack shit in the playoffs before Trotz and since Trotz, and what he did with those garbage Islanders teams in the playoffs was miraculous.

Dubas was never firing his boy, though.

Looked pretty enthusiastic against Tampa.

Then looked as unenthusiastic as Boston in their last three games and Carolina in their four straight losses.

We have to stop being idiots about the fact that the playoffs are a short tournament that catches some guys hot and some guys cold, often from round to round.

Where was ultra clutch Tkachuk against us in our crazy close series? Oh yeah, 0 goals.

Jumping on Trotz is dangerous. You can get a lot of elevation and then need to make sure you land on him again and again until you can control the bounce and get off so other kids can get a turn.

Dude does look he’s pretty short & squat. Wouldn’t take that much of a vertical leap.

The reason he looks like a human hamburger is that generations have been jumping on him and have flattened him into a thick human patty. He still can absorb a great bounce and get you elevated if you can really time it landing on his belly.

Berezin is a legend.

At a pro am charity tourney he played in he was getting chirped for not passing the puck and he’s just like “I didn’t even pass the puck to sundin”

also ran into stumpy a bunch of years ago and was talking to him about his OT winner vs the sens in 2000 and he said to me “I still can’t believe berezin passed that”
