I mean, as the Team fuckin’ President, it very much IS your business the extent to which the guy (with a track record of abuse and toxic behaviour) that you hired for a senior management position was toxic and abusive to his subordinates.

That should be something you’re determined to get to the bottom of.
 
Yeah if Babs' "thing" with everyone is going through their phones... that's really weird. In no situation is it "fine" to go through someone's phone without their permission.

Not sure Shanny takes enough heat for hiring him and keeping him for so long, fully knowing about his antics back when Shanny himself played for Detroit. And we know that complaints were made to Lou and Shanny by some of the players as well yet he didn't do anything about it until the team completely zoned him out.

Yeah, Shanny got off far easier on that than he should have. There’s no possible way he could credibly claim ignorance on the type of person Babcock was.

I am convinced Matthews was ready to ask for a trade during that mysterious summer Arizona visit by Babs.
 
In fairness odog repeatedly called babs a piece of shit over the years even when he was employed with the leafs. The other two though, yeah. Convenient to come out with these takes now. I remember it used to get uncomfortable when odog got unhinged over babs because they were afraid to say anything.
 
All kidding aside, it honestly does feel like someone told him to do this as some bonding experience with the full intent of fucking him over, and he was just too stupid to not immediately appreciate the insane invasion of privacy. He does seem like a pretty dense guy.
