The Bob McKenzie, Darren Dreger, Adam Schefter types, the "insiders" can't criticize anyone. They literally can't if they want that job.

Their job is to kiss as much ass as possible to create sources, which in return allows them to get privileged information so that they can break news, speculate, etc.

Bob McKenzie died as a journalist in the late 2000s when Colin Campbell was influencing & criticizing referees because of how they called the game on his son, and Bob defended him. Bob defended him because it was fairly obvious that Colin was one of his sources.

So Babs did grab of the phone of a very young player on Columbus offsite of their practice facility and looked through it. Dreger even said that and he's so afraid of saying anything incorrect (Although he did take time out in talking about what an amazing human being Jenner is LOL)
WTF is Babcock thinking? Was he not aware of the situation he was in?
Biz looks REALLY good here. A true media star unlike the boring cowards in the Canadian media.
HNIC should offer big $ to get him on the panel.

Biz can only do what he does because he is an entertainment Podcaster and not really a journalist.

Getting him to HNIC gets a neutered version of him or he gets fired really quick.

Then why doesn't HNIC hire people to entertain? I don't understand it. What value are these "Insiders" giving in terms of entertainment?
Canadian media takes hockey WAY too seriously.

Our entertainment is Stewart and O'Neil and they have to hold the company line.

It was rather funny seeing his Leaf loving schtick on American tv after years of hearing people are apparently such enthusiastic Leaf homers on HNIC.

Kevin: "You know what Ron, it's all about good asset management. Toronto could learn a thing or two."
Anthony: "Blame the Nylanderthals!"
Ron: "Biz, being new to the panel, would you like to add anything?"

Looking back on it, I love how "Nylanderthal" was something that not only passed the screening but he (Stewart) used it multiple times after that. Straight up trolling an entire segment of fans watching the so-called "homer" broadcast.
