Well, a decent consolation prize today is that the perennial cap cheaters who get every big name on the market just lost in the first round with their $20M over the cap or whatever it is this year. Fuck off, cheaters.

And COL was the #9 team, so it's 8 of the top 9 playing in the 2nd round.

If your AHL affiliate isnt producing league minimum Dewar's year over year, then your drafting and development sucks, or your philosophy of giving your kids a chance sucks, or both.

You should almost never trade for a Kampf/Dewar let alone pay/extend them, save for like a cup ready team with an injury and final piece or some such, but really, no, let a kid or like a recently divorced league minimum 29 year old desperate for money do it.
