We should fire Berube and hire Tortz.

Somehow he has that Flyers team 5th in xG%, and 6th over the last 2 years. 26th in s% and 32nd in sv% though.

Honestly not the worst idea. Wouldn’t want him around for long, but Torts seems to be one of those coaches that gives his team a short-term boost after being hired.

Will never happen though.

The Leafs were going to finish at or near 1st place regardless of the coach. Shit, as far as the regular season goes, they don't even need a coach.

I don't think he's particularly tough on the players like Torts is. Based on what I was told at least.

I don’t think Berube is anywhere near as nuts or hard to pay for as Torts.

But the biggest difference is Torts has adjusted to the modern game and is one of the better c and os coaches and Berube is the complete opposite of those things.
