He's done a lot of gutsy things. I'm not in the mood to go look back on rosters to see who has come and gone.
But he let Hyman, Campbell, and Mikky walk, each of which could be said to have taken some guts (the decision was easier on Mikky with that salary). Traded off Kapanen and Johnsson. A bunch of moves where he had to let guys go who other GMs might've bent over backwards to keep (Hyman especially) and fucked themselves with a long term poorly-aging deal, he exercised restraint and went and found low cost replacements like Bunting, Kase, Kampf, Jarnkrok and others.
