Won't accept this unless if they used a Zeke-approved DB meter. Noise levels are so easy to mess up, can very easily have wrong data when you measure them. I heard the 2016-2017 ACC was the loudest arena ever recorded.

You can’t go with the raw numbers anyway. If you go by XDF% (expected decibels for %), you’ll see that we’re actually the ones at the top.

Did he lay a guy in the numbers driving him face first into the boards with time to not do that? Yes.

It’s clearly a penalty. You can say “let them play” in the playoffs but it’s pretty clear why a ref would call that on the spot.

Yeah that's borderline. I feel that's going to be called around 50% of the time. I don't have a problem with that being called in the playoffs... Or in the regular season. It's one of those that your opinion of it likely depends on who you're cheering for.

No mention of the hit at all and why it shouldn't be a penalty other than to talk about the situation it occurred in and the impact of the penalty on the game.

I'm open to the idea that the refs missed calls last night though I'd want to see specifics to agree with that position. what no one should be open to is that obvious penalties aren't obvious because the playoffs or a 2-1 game or any of that nonsense. The sens played well at 5's last night but did a bunch of undisciplined shit that burned them.
