So they would play all their games out of the same facility?
Without fans it wouldlol, idiotic and will never be allowed.
This is kind of the only way I could see the NHL or NBA possibly concluding their seasons.
Get everybody who’d be involved—players, coaches, refs, training staff, game officials, event staff, TV people—all to one city/location, and then separate everyone and strictly isolate them all.
Once you get through 3-4 weeks with not a single one of any of those people showing any symptoms, then you start mini training camps, followed by playing the games.
Now, I still don’t think even that’s safe or practical under the present circumstances and I don’t think it’ll happen, but that’s just about the only way I could see them avoiding the outright cancellation of the 2020 playoffs & championship in either league.
That city's mayor and the governor of that state would have to agree to have players, coaches, refs, staff fly in from New York, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami, etc. and isolate themselves in that city's hotels. Then ALL of the cities with NBA teams' public officials would have to agree to let players from their cities go to mingle with players from hotspots, and then RETURN to their cities.
It is absolutely fucking idiotic.
Really, if WWE can do wrestlemanias, yes, NBA can have playoffs in Vegas without fans.
One player gets sick and you have to isolate an entire team and any other team that player has played in the last 14 days. Boom. There goes your playoffs.
Wait. We're still pretending the season will continue? Lmao
and that's the pretty inevitable end of this if it were to move forward, no?
Rich white people planning evil, reckless things? Where have I heard that one before...Not us. The slave....errr...team owners want it to continue.

It's not just a player. For the NHL, even at 16 teams if they each bring in 35 players/coaches/trainers/etc..., that's 560 people. Now, factor in they all have to eat too, so you probably need another what? 50? 100? support staff. So now you're talking about maybe 1000 people that you have to completely contain and isolate. You don't think one of those food service or sanitation staff won't sneak out and get sick quarantined for 2 months to get through a playoff schedule?
