Thompson did come into tonight with a .951 in the first two games.

I get that. Dude is athletic and a battler.

But he’s been swimming out there, floppy a la Hasek. He got away with some stuff because our guys can’t hit the broad side if a barn.

I have no idea if Dobes can keep up anything close to that level but the drop of from Thompson to Lindgren was yuge this year, and there wasn't much dropoff at all from Monty to Dobes.

Though iirc Dobes started super red hot and i don't know if it was a steady decline after that or not.

Dobes’ numbers have gradually sunk - not sure if those are representative of current form.
