Around the League 2019-2025 Edition

I remember some people trying to make it about Michkov vs Demidov, when that was never the issue.

Is Demidov better than Michkov? Right now, sure. Similar 20 yr old rookie seasons, Michkov has sucked dick this year though.

Michkov is definitely better than Reinbacher though.
 
I wanted him, but at this point I'm not sure Michkov is ever going to be an impact player. He doesn't appear to have the drive. I'm thinking Laine. Showed he has the ability but just can't stay motivated.

Reinbacher has been pretty unlucky and had trouble staying healthy. Still so young for a dman. We'll see how he pans out.

I took a look at some of his nerdies and I think a bunch of it comes down to Michkov being expected to play defence this year and doesn't get to just go rover. His defensive nerdies have improved across the board and are pretty good (in sheltered defensive usage definitely).

Offensively his goal rates are similars, but assist rates are down (especially 2A's) and all of his individual offensive nerdies (iHDCF, etc) are all up or way up.

He's going to be fine.

But Michkov is a cancer that no team in its right mind should want in its dressing room.
