Yeah, the D Is pretty strong all the way down. This is as happy as I've been with it.I've not been bubbles' biggest fan here but he definitely deserves a lot of credit for revamping our D. Tanev, OEL, and Carlo have all been strong additions. All with term (for better or worse).

The Oilers have no credible first pairing d-man aside from Ekholm, who is out. Bouchard is okay at moving the puck and has a good point shot, but defensively he's mid. Nurse is dead from the neck up and Kulak is a 3rd pairing guy all day long. The rest of them are garbage and both their goalies are garbage. Last summer they did precisely nothing about either of these areas and the result is what we're seeing now.Never thought I'd see Klingberg as a top pairing D after his failure in TO but hey the Oilers seem to love Leaf retreads
