You spelt "when" wrong.so if the panther make it to the finals, that's 6 years in a row a florida based team gets there.
Yea I get it… it’s something the league should address cause it’s bullshit.. it’s no better than the baseball tax where the yankees and dodgers hardly give a fuck due the printing press of a market they reside innote of course that both the Panthers and Stars are a) way over the cap and b) in income tax-free states.
easy solution - if the Leafs take advantage, they'd close the loopholeBoth are significant problems and its kind of hilarious and shit that the league has allowed them both to persist this long.
No excuse you work around itnote of course that both the Panthers and Stars are a) way over the cap and b) in income tax-free states.

The tax free issue is way overblown
The tax free issue is way overblown
Compared to the Leafs a) Stars have gotten a lot more talent out of late first rounders in recent years and b) Panthers have made way better trade
i don't know that stars are better than the leafs.
and i don't know that the panthers get by the leafs without adding marchand for free while abusing ltir to boot.
Also, what team is by far best at drafting? Stars. Taxes don't help that
Marchand was their best player against us, IMOi don't know that stars are better than the leafs.

GMing in Dallas is easier than in TorontoStars drafting is #1 in the NHL. That's why they are where they are. We should have hired Nill 11 years ago. Not only that.s but despite good depth they find ways to PLAY their young talent.
