I’ve never really seen elite player when I’ve watched him. I didn’t think we would’ve won a Marner for him trade. But then he had that Avs series and I was like, damn, maybe he was the missing piece. And now I’m back to feeling he’s not that guy. Lots of guys can have a hot series or playoffs - RNH has 9 points in this series so far.

It sucks, because he was leading the playoffs in hits and he goes into the hard areas. I guess Jeff Skinner finally gets to play in a meaningful game now.

Rant had the unsustainable midas touch for 5 games , scoring from deflections off skates , sticks , etc with a 37% shooting percentage

Never seen a so called star do squat for 2/3 the rest of the games
