Isles could have done much better ( or just give Dobson money) if not focussed on Hagens

A team should focus on the players they want the most, like every other fucking team in the draft. I don't think this is all that complicated, but a lot of people have Hagens at #3. He's really talented, just smallish. But i don't give a shit about size at the very top of the draft. There are many opinions about the order of these players after the top 2 (unless the rumours are true and the Sharks foolishly take Frondell at 2) but it makes total sense to me why a team like the NYI would covet Hagens here - especially if he starts to slide a bit.

Well, no real surprise here. They made the right choice keeping him. They can't do the whole dump guys instead of pay them thing when they're at this stage of things with their team. They need to be in keep mode with guys that got them the cup.

It would be damn fun if the other two made their way to TO now.

He looks to be a beast in the making. Misa is fast and skilled but Frondell is a bull on skates.
