I always struggled with cheering for the guy for this reason. His dad has a history of spiralling using Twitter burners. It all started with him dming similar stuff to random fans on his main account. Then he got in hot water for that and started to use burners. But he never tried particularly hard to hide who he was.

Something happened with the Leafs behind the scenes with contract negotiations or some other off ice thing that he took personally and just death spiraled it to this point where he hates his hometown team and wanted his kid to leave out of spite.
