Hope you enjoyed your youth, skill movement while it lasted.

these experts have nothing to say...but they have to say something. it's their job.

as if Hughes doesn't know Jake Evans isn't a 2nd line C. LOL

Hughes didn't want to pay deadline prices for the three guys that were made available

He's an active GM. Got Dobson for picks last summer. Will get a 2C and more in the months ahead.

I just find it hilarious that the same nonsense fake pressure I predicted less than 24 hours ago, took less than 24 hours to start.

For your sake, hopefully these guys are smart enough to ignore it and don't just see young and fast as a stop along the road to "playoff hockey".

I think that pressure is always present (and exists in every market because it's imposed by the game itself)

And I don't object to it. HuGo drafted Slaf partly because of his size, and they traded a high draft pick for Dach to hopefully fill that 2nd line big centre role. That was early in the regime. A regime that also routinely takes chances on super midgets like Hutson and L.J. Mooney

Apparently they were in on Knies a few month ago.

Getting size that's bundled with skill is way different than getting a one dimensional lug like Reeves.

The Habs have Xhekaj, a lug that MSL tried to turn into a player and in the post season, he's either been a healthy scratch or played 4 mins/night, so I'm pretty sure the Habs won't be getting size that can't keep up with the MSL pace.
