Around The League - 2024-25 Regular Season

If the NHL ever expands again, and I think it's just a question of when more so than if, they'll be going to Houston.

However, after Houston, there aren't many options for west coast teams. There's Kansas City and Portland, but that's about it.

The problem with Quebec, unfortunately, is that there's a few more options in the east. Milwaukee, one of Indianapolis/Cleveland/Cincinnati, a second Toronto team, maybe even re-visit Atlanta. I think all of those places would come before Quebec.
Bettman will never countenance another Canadian team. He'll put a team in Mexico City or Johannesburg before he'll let Quebec or any other Canadian market in.

These kids don’t care.
They obviously have preferences... but I'm sure 99% will be happy no matter what.

Some will hope to end up in a warm place, some might prefer an original 6 team like Montreal or Chicago. Some might even look at prospect pipelines to see how bright the future might be with each team.

But yeah, the Lemieuxs and Lindros' are rare.

Total joke if Bedard lands in Zona

I think at that age -18 - ninety nine percent are just happy to be in the NHL . . . anywhere. It’s once they’re in their mid-20’s that most start to think about where they want to set up shop more permanently.

If we don't get him then I hope he does land out west really. Just not Chicago for me.
