There’s a valuable lesson here, however, with players like Tippet and Tage Thompson, and I suspect Slaf as well, and it’s that big bodied players generally take longer to develop. Patience is paramount.

Yes. We forget sometimes because more and more big kids are getting really good young but there's always been those that take time to get used to their size.

Exactly. Thompson’s coordination for a guy 6’7” is phenomenal but it took him a good while to figure it out.
