Keep laughingThose picks net value will take 5-7 years to add up and your lucky if 1 hits
Habs could of made this deal without a first rounder
Minny gave up squat here
Habs juggled a few moves to trade Romanov , 98th pick for 13th and moved 66th and that 13th to get DachSo you're changing the argument now. Yes I would do that deal with the Calgary pick. Dach did not cost more though.
Why can’t you believe that CBJ couldn’t do any better? I assume that if they could have, they would’ve.Habs juggled a few moves to trade Romanov , 98th pick for 13th and moved 66th and that 13th to get Dach
At least the Habs got a shot at a top 6 forward at 21 , Hunt is a depth D
All I am saying is for a potential top 4D who is 21 CBJ got nothing to help now and maybe never a legit roster player
I cant believe they couldnt do better than this to get something closer to NHL ready that is more impactful
I am not changing any argument , I like what Minny did
I am surprised that teams didnt give up more , thats all .Why can’t you believe that CBJ couldn’t do any better? I assume that if they could have, they would’ve.
Something seems rotten though. Awful quick to give up on a top 5 pick.I am surprised that teams didnt give up more , thats all .

Blue Jackets would have never taken calls on Jiricek if his skating wasn’t a major concern about his ability to be an impact defenseman in the NHL. It was an issue when he was drafted, but it hasn’t improved much — if at all — in the last 2 1/2 seasons.
The words that are used most often to describe Jiricek’s skating are “awkward” and “clumsy.” Those are not compliments, especially in the modern NHL where defensemen are expected to join the play and keep up with smaller, quicker players.
