Always good to have a good vet who’s been through it all in the room and that can still compete on the ice. Stammer would be a great locker room and on ice mentor for the young ones.

I sort of remember it because of the Hyman situation.

Toronto & Deadmonton were in talks to do a sign & trade for Hyman to Deadmonton so that he could get an 8 year contract. It fell apart because they couldn't agree on compensation between the two teams.

Which is hilarious seeing as Hyman was leaving anyway and he ended up going to Deadmonton a few days later, but with one less year on his contract.
