Be honest, in 2005 you didn't even know where Slovenia was let alone know who Kopitar was. We'd have been better off drafting Kopitar.

I had the safe bet in StaalBe honest, in 2005 you didn't even know where Slovenia was let alone know who Kopitar was.
Actually, I had a friend who actually went to Slovenia to visit a chick he met online. One of his many, many mistakes.Be honest, in 2005 you didn't even know where Slovenia was let alone know who Kopitar was.
I'm probably the only one here that wanted Kopitar....We'd have been better off drafting Kopitar.
You and me.I'm probably the only one here that wanted Kopitar....
AhemI'm probably the only one here that wanted Kopitar....
I figured Brule as well but then we went "off reservation"....Actually, I had a friend who actually went to Slovenia to visit a chick he met online. One of his many, many mistakes.
I figured the Habs would take Gilbert Brule at 5. Price wasn't on my radar. A goalie wasn't on my radar.
Yes you were, you said it over and over and over ..I'm probably the only one here that wanted Kopitar....
He wasn’t, he just never shut up about itYes you were, you said it over and over and over ..
this is an awesome documentary on the old cantankerous asshole Ballard

ah, didn't you know saw it already, I shared it on FB and commented on McKenney saying they should have beaten us in 1978 if not for Salming's injuryI watched it on Monday. It's so on point. The Ballard era was, for me, the true "golden age" of the Leafs. Entertaining (off the ice) and inept on it, never a threat to win anything. Good times.
Well we must bear in mind that "Howie" is a recovering alcoholic and probably spent most of 1978 falling off a bar stool at the Zanzibar Tavern on Yonge Street.ah, didn't you know saw it already, I shared it on FB and commented on McKenney saying they should have beaten us in 1978 if not for Salming's injury
No, I did. Of course I was clueless about him, but willing to go for it.I'm probably the only one here that wanted Kopitar....
Stars have a pop gun offense without a go to guy it seems. Just not good enough, like other recent years. That said, Skinner is sure on his game at the moment. Oilers so much more opportunisitc, and Oettinger is another goalie who appears somewhat useless.Period 1... all Stars, 1-0 Oilers.
Stuart Skinner is the best goalie in the world now apparently.

It much easier to enter that comfort zone, when the 5-man unit in front of your net is always aware of the D-side of the puck….Stars have a pop gun offense without a go to guy it seems.
