The Leafs front office never had the guts to admit the truth to themselves. The Habs exposed them as frauds but they just kept running it back year after year with the same fraudulent players hoping for a different result.

And now, instead of trading Marner for a huge haul, he's going to walk for nothing this summer. Horrid asset management and all because management refused to believe that 16 and 34 are actually garbage.

No excuse when you choke like this

Nobody expected the Laffs to win a cup but if their core group played to expectations they would have and won at least 4-5 rounds

They were handed COVID gifts with Columbus and Montreal and still fucked it up
