Around The League: Playoffs 2026

He is done.

This is why I always questioned some media (in Toronto no less) pumping the Sens tires as better than the Habs now and in the future.

Brady has two years left so he’s out of there. Sanderson has six years left, but I’m sure he’ll be out in the next couple. Just your typical American Maga not wanting anything to do with small town Canada.

We’re lucky Lane and Cole have a Canadian parent (although MTL it’s not small). But the Tkachuk’s mom is Canadian so I have no idea.

I mean, Hellybuyck plays in the Peg.

Perhaps they are just two entitled assholes. They took Tim Horton’s money though, getting national tv ad income which would simply be impossible in the US.

Wow, I was expecting a lot more out of the Sens - are Stutzle & Tkachuk even playing?

Gotta think Tkachuk is gonzo this summer w a quick Sens exit from playoffs…

3-0 Canes lead series
Yeah, me too. They must be the kind of team that are ok when chasing something that appears to be out of reach (playoff spot) and are running on adrenalin. This is the second year in a row, however, that they have seemingly wilted when there might be real expectations. Such as in an actual playoff series after performing well to get there.

Wilting when expectations are raised(see series against Leafs) appears to be part of the DNA of the Senators anyway. I mean the Hurricanes were still favourites-there wasn't that much pressure.

Sanderson parents are Canadian and have moved back to 🇨🇦

Players from Midwest (Michigan, Minny, Wisconsin) seem to like Winter-peg - especially the close proximity to home for Minny players

It’s the Ontario water. Losing in the first round I mean.
