Let me get this straight

Sens went from trading Murray (salary retained) and the 7th overall to Buffalo for the 16th pick, which Murray vetoed with his NTC.

To

Trading 7OA, as well as their 39th pick, and a 3rd round pick in 2024 for DeBrincat

And

Trading Murray to the Leafs (25% retained) and only having to give up a 3rd and 7th.

Dorion just earned his 15-min of fame…

Makes you wonder if his hands were tied-up by Melnick or something because since his passing, Dorion has been on fire.

Yeah but neither of those 3 moves are right, so don't do either, or at least wait until you know for sure that Jack is signing with another team for a contract that you can't match.

They dont want to go term with a goalie

They had to do this one when Jack and Kuemper are no longer options

Dubas never gets ahead of the curve , he waits until the bitter end

They should of offered Jack 3 years a year earlier when Fred wasnt coming back

They have the luxury of front loading a deal so the third year has much less cash outflow

He was pinned in a corner and needs to find his 1B as well

I can't believe they're going to go the last 2 years of Matthews contract with Murray as #1. I'd rather give some term to Jack and figure it out later, but neither options are appealing. They fucked up.
