"The Batagaika Crater is a giant, rapidly growing chasm in the permafrost of Siberia. Its melting has revealed ancient, mummified wildlife, tens of thousands of years old.Animals discovered include: woolly mammoths, an extinct horse (Equus lenensis), prehistoric steppe bison (Bison priscus), sabertoothed cats, cave lions, and a dog-like wolf creature named Dogor that scientists are still testing."
