Seeding games for the Bolts :

August 3rd: Washington vs Tampa Bay
August 5th: Tampa Bay vs Boston
August 9th: Philadelphia vs Tampa Bay

Blue Jackets vs Lightning

Gotta love that Eastern Quarter Finals matchup.
Nothing better than to face your demons and get a chance to redeem yourself.

Bring it on !

What a epic game.
Bolts played amazing, they were the better team and deserved the win.

It was not perfect, but I would not have the heart to criticize anybody after a game like that.

Hats off to Columbus, gotta feel for the players being on the losing end of the 4th longest game in NHL history.

“But I want to talk about the Lightning's third line. Blake Coleman, Yanni Gourde and Barclay Goodrow have been a force at even-strength.

That trio has controlled a ridiculous 74 percent of the shots on goal while on the ice and 82 percent of the high-danger chances (14-3).

They also chipped in for five points in the massive game four victory.

Those aren't the types of players who win you fantasy leagues. But they sure as shit help a team push deep into the playoffs and allow your big gunners more games to hit the high notes.”

So happy to see my boy Yanni Gourde having success after having been buried on the 4th line for the whole season.

Gourde/Coleman/Goodrow dominating every matchups with a relentless forecheck and textbook playoff style hockey. 👌

Exactly why you overpaid for those 2 ...a change of too much of the same

What up with Stammer ?

What up with Stammer ?

He had as surgery for his "core muscle injury" in March and was set to miss the start of the playoffs.
Now with the unforeseen extra time for healing and rehab, he was set to be ready to go for the start of the Corona Cup tournament.

He came in at training camp and skated at practice, but the information about what happened is not clear.
Cooper was asked if Stamkos had a setback in rehab, and he answered something like "natural ebbs and flows" of rehab.

We weren't sure if it was a different injury at first, but it seems it's the same thing, he re-injured himself or did not heal properly...

Went from missing the first two seeding games to "out indefinitely".

I'm not expecting to see him back anytime soon.
