BOLTS : Playoffs 2019-2020

Victor Hedman you beautiful monster.
He is the most valuable player on this team.

One of the main, if not the main reason for the team to lose to Columbus in 2019; was Hedman’s play, or lack thereof.

He had a concussion near the end of the season and missed the last games leading to the playoffs.

Came back for game 1 and looked awful. He clearly had not recovered fully and looked still concussed at times.

Hedman ended up missing games #3 and #4, and the rest is history.

Amazing that this team managed to get this win without Kucherov, and with only 10 forwards in the 3rd period / OT / 2nd OT.

Bottom line is Tampa Bay bested Boston both times they met in the playoffs in the last three years.

Bolts are #1 of the Atlantic Division.

So close to finishing this off.
Can't seem to get it done without Brayden Point in this series.

Victor Hedman scores his 9th goal of the playoffs.

5th time in NHL history a defenseman scores 9 goals in one post-season.

P. Coffey (1985) - 12 Goals
B. Leetch (1994) - 11 Goals
B. Orr (1970) - 9 Goals
B. Park (1978) - 9 Goals
V. Hedman (2020) - 9 Goals

Victor Hedman, on the decision to grab the Prince of Wales Trophy after not doing it in 2015: "It didn't work last time. That was a no-brainer for us."
