Saw 50 people standing close together eating food from a food truck. Including children. That kind of thing is happening all over now. Like the 2000 people going to a local car race in Alamance county. And Cooper made the track shutdown. (y)
One of my buddies is from down that way and knows the speedway owners a bit. He said he wouldn't be at all surprised if the father and son both end up in jail over this thing. Apparently they are legendarily stubborn and ornery.

stubhub refusing to give refunds. Only a credit. They are getting sued over this I will try to join that class action suit. I am going to report to NC attorney general. They changed their policy after I bought the tickets .

I will post when I hear back from the NC AG but it will probably take a few weeks

Stubhub deserves whatever they get out of this. They straight up changed their policies to fit their own short term financial needs rather than looking out for their customers and without customers they won't last long. Sure, join the class action suit if you can, but more importantly ... remember how they treated people and don't use them in the future.

NC AG wrote to stubhub for me. If they blow that off I guess they could be sued by the AG , not sure of next step.
Wouldn’t Stubhub have to get the money from whomever sold the tickets? I’ve sold some game tickets on Stubhub before and aside from their fee i get the cash quickly.

My step-grandmother, very nice lady, who's in a nursing home and unfortunately suffering dementia, tested COVID-19 positive a couple weeks ago... her whole wing was tested due to another resident being sick.. She has no symptoms last I heard (knock wood) and was being monitored and they had her on a regimen of that controversial malaria drug...

Ugh. I hate that for you Bill. My mother in law is in a community that has thus far avoided any Infections and believe me ... we feel exceptionally blessed.

That stinks, Bill, all the way around.

The FDA just revoked its emergency use authorization for chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine.

True, and apparently remesdivir is also proving less effective than hoped ... but Oxford researchers have found another path to a promising treatment
