I just spoke with my friend on the phone and he should be back home in about 3 hours, ready to check in, change his team's name and get going with the draft.

We spoke about his protected list and he asked me to post it on the forum so that we can get started with the draft.

I will post his protected list right away under the name Thunder Buddy because I do not know what handle he'll be using.
 
Guess we're still waiting on Thunder Buddy's entry fee, and Killersweet's protected list.

Looks like killersweet just got his list in. Just waiting for kritter to drop and make his unprotected list.
 
I have Jesse's pick, though he was around an hour ago, so unless leafman is around to pick I'll wait for him to make it.
 
Also, I really like those two picks HP.

I think Caufield at 5 here is far less of a reach than when I took Liljegren at 5 over Heiskanen a couple years ago (yuck).

Thanks. Yeah I had Caufield going anywhere from #4 - #10... When he fell to the Habs at 15 I was ecstatic. Taking him at #5 shouldn't have been a reach... But I'm sure to some it looks like it.
 
Its been in thw works for a week or two... a struggle on both sides to find a valuation we both liked and could agree to.
 
Yeah, I was hesitant giving up those prospects but ultimately felt it was a fair deal and I was getting 2 of the best players in the league.

I liked the pick. He looks like a possibly elite offensive player.
 
Not sure I can edit the draft thread title to show who is on the clock, if someone that can wants to.
