We keep saddling them with bullshit and when they're unable to save us from the rest of the fucking team, they eat the blame.

That and the core 4 do not have any intestinal fortitude to step up and put the team on their back.

we have seen it with countless other teams through the years. A goalie steals a series or two. A forward goes nuts and dominates a series.
These guys are always just "good" but not great.
