You are conflating two separate issues:
Subban for Weber deal was a clear Habs trade win
Philosophically if Subban should’ve been dealt for pick / prospects has nothing to do with evaluation of the actual deal that was executed

Of course he’s conflating issues. What would you expect of him, however? He's Mr. Agenda. I was big a PK fan when he played for us but after the trade, Shea Weber was the better player of the two for the remainder of their respective careers, it's not even debatable. What is debatable is whether trading PK for Weber was a good use of assets - probably not the best . . . but I don't think it was atrocious.

He nailed the NHL again today and as usual he was 100000% correct. This tournament hasn't done shit for hockey.
